In January of 2021 Studio Technologies delivered a custom product for use in an aerospace application. The supported application involved providing the user interface for simultaneous high-quality, highly reliable voice communications (intercom) for multiple users. The unit, specifically titled the VTC-01, is Power-over-Ethernet (Poe) powered, supports Dante audio-over-IP technology, and meets a number of specialized technical standards. The Dante connectivity was enhanced using a set of high-frequency in-band tones that allowed status signals to be sent to and received from a digital signal processor from Biamp Systems.
